Panel discussion

The Risks and Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence

The Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation (now part of the London Foundation for Banking & Finance) is pleased to invite you to our next breakfast briefing, where we’ll explore one of the most pressing topics in finance today: the risks and opportunities of artificial intelligence.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from leaders at the forefront of AI’s evolution and its implications for financial services—from risk management and regulation to innovation and infrastructure.

We’re delighted to welcome the following expert speakers:
  • Wenyu Bai describes herself as an ‘Actuary turned AI strategist’. She is currently Divisional Director for AI and Automation at St James’ Place.
  • Alwin Magiway is the Global Head of AI, PA Consulting where he leads the company’s AI capabilities across key industries and a visiting professor at Imperial College’s Centre for Digital Transformation and advises several AI start-ups.
  • Keyur Patel, is an experienced academic writer, journalist, and research consultant who has worked for organisations including the Financial Times, Citi Foundation, PwC, and Habitat for Humanity
The panel will be chaired by Harry Weber-Brown, Director of Partnerships at LFBF & CSFI, who leads the CSFI and manages LFBF membership.
Admission is free, but places are very limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We look forward to seeing you there!
